• Library Clerk, Class-3 : First 5 years: Rs. 26,000/- per month (Fixed pay)
• After 5 years (if services are satisfactory): Rs. 19,900/- to Rs. 63,200/- (Level-2, 7th Pay Commission)
• Other benefits as per government resolutions
• Assistant Librarian, Class-3 : First 5 years: Rs. 26,000/- per month (Fixed pay)
• After 5 years (if services are satisfactory): Rs. 25,500/- to Rs. 81,100/- (Level-4, 7th Pay Commission)
• Other benefits as per government resolutions

• Total Questions : 210 (Part-A: 60, Part-B: 150)
• Total Duration : 3 hours (180 minutes) for both parts combined
• Negative Marking : 1/4 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer
• Minimum Qualifying Marks : 40% in Part-A and 40% in Part-B (for all categories)
• Exam will be conducted in both Gujarati and English languages
• Part-A (60 Marks) : Reasoning & Data Interpretation: 30 questions, 30 marks Quantitative Aptitude: 30 questions, 30 marks
• Part-B (150 Marks) : Constitution of India, Current Affairs, Gujarati & English Comprehension: 30 marks
  Questions related to Technical Qualification and its applications: 120 marks
