Grade B (General) Phase-I Exam Pattern

  • The Prelims Exam Pattern of the RBI Grade B Recruitment 2024 includes 200 questions for 200 marks from the subjects including General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning. The time duration of the exam is 2 hours. Separate time will be allotted for each portion (subject) of the exam.

Grade B (General) Phase-II Exam Pattern

  • Paper-I (Economics and Social Issues) : RBI Grade B Mains Paper-I includes the subject of Economics and Social Issues (50% Objective and 50% Subjective). The time duration of the objective exam is 30 minutes and the time duration of the subjective exam is 90 minutes. There are a total of 100 marks (50 each) for the objective and subjective exam.
  • Paper II (English- Written Skills) : The paper-II of the RBI Grade B Mains exam consists of a descriptive paper of 100 marks. The paper is to test the English writing skills of the candidates. The time duration of the exam is 90 minutes.
  • Paper-III (General Finance and Management) : The Paper-III is 50% Objective and 50% Subjective. The total duration of the exam is 90 minutes and the total marks of the exam are 100 (50 for each objective and subjective).
